Warm Hues and Blues: Fall at Wild Rose Country Home

It's officially fall at Wild Rose Country Home and the first day of September. That means two very important things:

1- It's Wild Rose Country Home's 3 year anniversary!!!!! To celebrate I'm doing an awesome GIVEAWAY over on my Instagram account with some of my favorite Canadian shops: Willow Bloom Wreaths, William Rae Designs, Acton's Lower Shannon Farms, Homestead Candle Co. and White Birch Handmade Goods. Check out these awesome Canadian companies. They are honestly some of my favorite ones out there and I personally have stuff from their shops in my home. So, head over there to enter the giveaway and of course, wish me a happy anniversary ;)

2- September also means it's the official fall kick off for my blog and you get to see what colors and themes I'm using this year! Maybe you'll find some inspiration from it and incorporate some WRCH designs into your palette this year too!

For Fall 2020, I am going for a brand new design that I'm especially proud of: Warm Hues and Blues! In the photo above where I'm standing in front if my newly painted black door, you can see a blue wall. My Very Navy wall is sort of my claim to fame. Probably the most asked question I get is, "what's the name of that blue color?" Very Navy by behr is the name! It's a beautiful navy blue and I wanted to try and feature that color throughout my home this holiday season (aka September through New Years).

I painted the navy blue magnolia leaves on my wreath that I had in storage. It instantly transformed it!! I added a few blue stems from Michael's to the side baskets, picked up some burnt orange mums, added a couple of white pumpkins and the awesome blue and white buffalo check mat. If you want to check out the mat, I have it linked in my amazon storefront here.

Let's head to the living room. I carried in the blue in to the living room using my existing pillows and adding one extra plaid one. I bought a new vegan cowhide rug with gold flecks and a warm beige tone. I made a custom fall floral arrangement for the coffee table. Then I added a navy antique book, an amber Hearth & Hand fall candle and a gray fabric pumpkin over on the mantel. Super easy and simple. The rug is linked in my amazon shop. I think it helps the area feel less structured to have an irregular shaped rug.

In the dining room you'll see that I only added touches of blue, but it makes such an impact! This my favorite part...

This beautiful bead garland is from another shop that is a part of my giveaway called Willow Bloom Wreaths. I linked her beautiful garland here for you to shop. Check it out!

The more I create tablescapes, the more I love them! The layering and personal touches in a tablescape make it that much more enjoyable when serving the people you love.

All of the blue fall accents below are linked in my amazon shop! Click on the photo and it'll take you right to the product to purchase it. You're welcome ;)
